Martin MAC 2000 Series

The MAC 2000 Prole II

from Martin Professional

is a 1.2kW moving head

spotlight with CMY (cyan,

magenta, yellow) color mixing

technology.

The MAC 2000’s color/gobo

wheel provides seven slots

with four dichroic color lters

and three static steel gobos.

Two overlapping gobo wheels provide room for ten glass

gobos. The effects wheel provides a variable frost lter and

two rotating slots that house a beam shaper and a rotating

3-facet prism, combined dimmer/shutter, a remote iris,

focus, zoom, 540° of pan, and 267° of tilt. All MAC 2000’s

are switchable between 100-130V and 200-250V. 1.2kW

HMI lamp included, connector not included.

Building on the solid success of the MAC 2000 Prole, the

MAC 2000 Performance has been specially engineered for

use in theater and television. It incorporates an array of

advanced features including a mechanized framing system

and gobo animation module. The MAC 2000 Performance

features a fully automated, micro-adjusting shutter blade

system that enables the Performance to project angled

shapes with hard and sharp edges. For full exibility, each

blade swivels 60 degrees, and the entire module rotates 90

degrees. Central to the MAC 2000 Performance is its unique

gobo animation system, especially engineered to create

animated effects such as rising ames, windswept clouds or

driving rain. The entire animation wheel pivots, which frees

designers to create complex animations that move in any

direction.

The MAC 2000 Wash features full CMY color mixing along

with variable color temperature correction lters. All of these

variable lters work under the same principle as the previous

MAC 2000 products, but they do feature a new etching

design to ensure smooth and even color mixing across the

Martin MAC 500

Lighting design has no limits with

the MAC 500, a highly reliable

award-winning prole spot luminaire

which projects a bright beam with

a razor-sharp hard-edge. The MAC

500 is designed to use a 575 Watt

MSR discharge source. It provides

18 combinable dichroic color lters,

nine static and ve indexed rotation gobos, variable iris and

focus, rotating 3-facet prism, full-range dimming, strobe

effects up to 23Hz, and 16-bit resolution movement. MAC

500 E is an electronic ballast version of the MAC 500,

providing icker-free operation, an economic power-saving

mode, compatibility with 100 and 200 Volt AC supplies,

and considerably lighter weight. 575 MSR Lamp included,

Martin MAC 600

An industry standard, MAC 600 is

a precision driven, yoke-mounted

fresnel washlight designed for use

with a 575 Watt lamp source.

With 440° of tilt for fast, smooth

movement, it features a three-

wheel CMY (cyan, magenta, yellow)

color mixing system, a four-position

color wheel with red, green, blue

and color correction lters, plus

full-range continuous dimming, a separate shutter, frost and

fully combinable beam-shaping lters. Martin’s MAC 600 E

provides an electronic ballast with icker-free operation as

well as an economic power-saving mode, and compatibility

with 100 and 200 Volt AC supplies. 575 Watt MSR lamp

Martin MiniMac Automated Wash Luminaire

The MiniMac Wash is an automated single-armed moving-

head fresnel washlight. Its compact and stylish appearance

makes it attractive for many applications like restaurants,

discotheques, or retail environments. The two spread angle

options of 23° and 40° provide the possibility for a very

even color wash on short throw distances, and up to seven

presets can be programmed into the on-board memory for

full stand-alone operation. 150 Watt discharge lamp and

The new MAC 250 Krypton fea-

tures a number of signicant

changes that make this moving

head suited to an even wider va-

riety of markets - retail and lei-

sure applications, special events

and more. A new and improved

glass reector produces ex-

tremely high light output. The

high precision achromatic lens

system maximizes optical efciency of the included Philips MSD

250/2 lamp for superb picture quality. The multi-layer dichroic

reector minimizes thermal stress and delivers a beautifully

even beam. The 16-bit precision gobo wheel houses 7 slots

plus open, and the new design makes gobo changes fast and

easy. A bi-directional, 3-facet prism is smooth and rotates

at variable speeds, adding unique effects to gobo projection.

The prism can also be replaced giving lighting professionals

an added customizable feature. The Krypton also includes a

new light sensitive yellow display, as well as 3 and 5 pin XLR

connectors for data, and an AC operating range from 100-
