Business Hours

The normal ELS business hours are 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday

through Friday, and 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturdays. Please note

that our hours of operation may vary over holiday weekends.

Payment

Payment for purchases is C.O.D. or payment in advance unless credit

with ELS is established and is in good standing. Purchases may be

paid with cash, American Express, MasterCard or Visa. Preprinted

checks will be accepted upon presentation of a valid California drivers

license and are subject to bank approval.

Credit Terms

Credit accounts with overdue outstanding balances are subject to

a 1½% (one and one half percent) per month service charge. ELS

reserves the option of withholding goods and services from the

Customer if invoice(s) remains unpaid after the stated term of credit

to the Customer. If suit or action is instituted by ELS to enforce

payment by the Customer, the Customer agrees to pay all costs and

attorney’s fees incurred.

Insurance

Unless requested by the Customer, ELS will not secure insurance for

transporting the goods to Customer. In any case where insurance is

purchased for the Customer, it will be at the Customer’s expense.

Shipping

All sales are FOB Sun Valley, CA (unless drop-shipped from the

manufacturer). Risk of Loss passes to the Customer upon placement

of the goods on board. Shipping instructions should be submitted with

orders. In absence of instructions, ELS will use its best judgment and

shipping costs will be added to the invoice. Delivery times will depend

upon the availability of equipment from the manufacturer.

Damage Claims

Any and all damage claims must be made directly to the carrier

that transported the goods. ELS is not responsible for any damages

that occur during shipment. ELS will gladly assist its Customers in

securing adjustment of such claims. Any claims for non-conforming

products sold under warranty must be submitted within ten (10)

days of receipt and returned for examination. Defects in materials or

workmanship will be promptly rectied.

Returns

All merchandise returns must have ELS authorization and be issued a

Return Authorization Number (RA#). ELS reserves the right to refuse

a return shipment unless the RA# is indicated on the item. All freight

is the responsibility of the Customer unless written authorization

is issued by ELS. All returns are subject to a $25.00 or 25%

(whichever is greater) minimum restocking charge, plus any cost of

reconditioning which ELS deems necessary.
